Lets explore the uncharted

We started out as a group of wildlife enthuasists in 2015 with a dream of visiting all the National parks in Uganda. However in 2018, a very unfortunate incident happened in Queen Elizabeth National Park that made us think again. 11 lions were poisoned in the Southern sector of the park which hit us very hard. We felt we could find ways of contributing to the protection of these innocent animals. We decided that we can change people’s stance on wildlife. We wanted to not just travel to national parks but rather, travel to understand wildlife and if people understand it, they will love it and therefore protect it. Sherura Africa Safaris was started to build a bridge between man and wildlife so as to put a long term end on human-animal conflict through travel.

Many of our first clients have successfully become wildlife protectors and are still good gospel about the need to protect animals.
